Charming little bistro with authentic Polish food. My partner and I went in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and had a lovely lunch. He had the cabbage roll dinner with mashed potatoes and coleslaw and I had the sausage dinner ...
I drive by this place everyday on my way to work and always wondered about it. Well we went there last week and LOVED our experience. Definitely recommend the pierogis and cucumber/dill salad together! So delicious we went back this week (I also recommend the schnitzel on a bun) Beautiful patio and wonderful staff.
Oh how we love this Bistro so much! All the food we had was so delicious and they really made us feel at home! The perogies were so yummy and just the right texture, the schnitzel was very well seasoned, the desserts were out of this world! And the beautiful server and owners were so sweet to us, they even gave our son 2 yummy chocolate cakes which he swallowed up whole! This is definitely our new favourite spot just close to home and we plan on coming often to support their business!!! Oh yes also please try the import beer, it was very light and delicious and paired well with our perogies!
Delightful spot in town which deserves to be much better known. Authentic home cooked Polish cuisine. Pierogies and more frozen and available to take home. Great, focused menu. Welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere for a casual meal with friends and family. Don't miss this great local, family restaurant!
Very cute place with a home-y atmosphere. The menu contains Eastern European classics like pierogies, schnitzel and cabbage rolls. It's also nice that there are a variety of sides you can choose from. I especially loved the pierogies! Super flavorful and you can tell that it's homemade. Staff is friendly and the timing is decent considering it's made fresh. Surely coming back to try other items on the menu.
This place is definitely worth driving from the other side of town for. I absolutely LOVED the pierogies, and was pleasantly surprised by how well the cucumber salad went with it (it was recommended). The interior is so bright and beautifully decorated. The woman who served us was so kind. I was tempted to buy some frozen pierogies to bring home but I think idrrather just come back and have it made proper for me again! I cannot recommend this place enough!
I'm not sure how I have never heard of this place. Today was my mom's birthday so I wanted to take her out, we are Croatian and mom loves the Slavic food. So my wife looked up european restaurants in Guelph and this place came up. Just around the corner from our home, we took mom for lunch. Wow! What a great experience! The restaurant is small but very quaint and VERY clean. I ordered pierogies, my wife had the goulash and mom had the schnitzel. Everything was delicious and the presentation was immaculate. Plus they have nice Polish beer!!! We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. They have a large patio that we can just imagine is beautiful in the summer. We will definitely be back soon!!! Nazdravlje!
Fantastic quality - the cucumber and dill salad was fresh and flavourful, and the cheese pierogies were lightly fried with bacon, easily some of the best pierogies I've ever had. If you're in Guelph, this is a must visit!
